Quinoa with mix vegetables and baked Salmon

If you have been hesitant to try quinoa, this recipe is a great start. Not only it is super tasty and divine. This dish can be prepared in less than 40 minutes. It is gluten-free, full of antioxidants and nutritious value that help regulate the digestive system and keep you fuller and more satisfied. Tasty and Healthy. it’s a WIN-WIN
Now let’s get started!

Equipment

  • large pot
  • sieve
  • wooden spoon
  • fork
  • Non-stick pan
  • large bowl

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 2 cups water
  • 3 tbsp Le Bon Gout green seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Le Bon Gout Meat seasoning

Instructions

  • Rinse quinoa in a fine-mesh sieve with cold water until water runs clear.






  •  Heat 3tbs of olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

     Add 2 tbs of Le Bon Gout green seasoning, stir until caramelized. Do not overcook.






  • Add 1 cup of mix vegetable, 1 habanero pepper (optional) ¼ tsp of salt
     Add 2 cup of water, bring to a boil






  • Add the quinoa to the boiling mixture, reduce heat to low and simmer until quinoa is cooked and liquid is absorbed about 20 to 25 minutes. You do not need to stir the quinoa as it is cooking



  • After 25 minutes, removed the lid and stir with a fork or wooden spoon.  



  • Turn off heat and allow to sit covered for 5 minutes, until the remaining water is absorbed.





  • Remove the lid and gently fluff the quinoa.

     Leave the quinoa on the stove with the cover on.






Now Let's make the salmon

  • Please note that if you can coordinate your time, both dishes can be prepared at the same time. If not while the quinoa is cooking


    Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
      Rinse the salmon under cold water to remove any impurity
     Transfer to a bowl marinates the salmon with 2 tbs of Le Bon Gout Meat Seasoning.
     Transfer the marinade salmon skin side down to a non-stick pan or non-stick baking sheet












  • Bake until salmon is cooked through, about 12 to 15 minutes


  • Turn off the oven and serve.
